(5,581 posts)about cataracts. I am getting there and didn't realize there may be a choice on the vision outcome (near sighted/far sighted)
Saw my doc this week also since I felt some issues after a long journey in an aircraft cabin.
Fortunately I am not compromised enough to warrant surgery although I am progressing towards that. So your experience and the comments on this thread has prepared me for the choices I will face as time goes by. This is something that I knew would probably occur but really never gave it a second thought until recently with the eye compensation evolving.
But dry eyes are certainly an issue on long distance aircraft cabins (and I still wear a mask inside any environment similar to a sardine can).
And yes, I identify with your rage and find it so curious everyone around me is business as usual while this country has been hijacked by madmen and their soldiers.
Inside I am stark raging mad like you but can't exhibit those traits in most environments I pass through in my work and in my transient outside of the house life. I wonder how everyone around me just goes on like business as usual. My business life is a series of very short personal interactions with others so other than short comments at times it is impossible to engage in extensive "outside the immediate environment" conversation.
