27. For anyone that enjoys passing the time

playing video games, one of the best ever is Cyberpunk 2077. As much as it is an expansive open world type game it is also a warning of what our real world could become. This scenario is right out of that game. It's eerie. So, we have a corporate overlord. Who chooses that person? And then in the background some other billionaires want their shot at the very top. Then you begin to have corporate factions and then it starts... a corporate war and we'll all be in the middle of it.

Aside from that, no more workplace protections. No more collective bargaining. You work where you're told, when you're told and for how long you're told. No more money. You get paid in company credits that can only be redeemed at an official company outlet. Only a chosen few get to receive higher education. The rest are basically worker drones and advancement is a thing of the past unless someone dies or is arrested. We'd better find someone that's going to fight and fight loudly. And we'd better find that one or that group very quickly or it's going to get 100 times worse than it is now before we know it.
