I've since seen video of the girl's Ukrainian mother performing "Zombie." It's a great commentary on the hell of war. I remember an interview with the father of a soldier killed on his tour of duty during The Troubles in the 1980s. He said that his family was experiencing the same suffering as the families of the Irish that soldiers killed. I was impressed with his insight at such a time.
