Which is not a good thing. We Americans are shopping fanatics and we don't like being told that we cannot do something.

Plus, there is the matter of decades of oligarch programming that has convinced most of us that we must have a job and we must work for these people to have one. This includes those who cannot work anymore. We will have to spend to keep going to that job. We have to eat so that we can continue to do that job. Etc. and ad infinitium.

We will never win this until we stop being so easily manipulated. The op is correct, we have to stop giving them money and stop giving them manpower.

I just don't think we will do it enough to make a difference. It will take millions of us doing this to make it work. We can't even agree on a course of action against a fascist dictator. This should be a easy decision.
