Had a conversation with a professional woman who with her husband have heavily invested in the construction of a new facility. She voted for tRump because she hates Biden and Harris. As usual no evidence as to why.

Anyway they are getting cost overruns because of the tariffs. The latest is the rising price of steel.

It's hard to understand her repuke support as she is quite intelligent and educate, with wide ranging interests.

We ended our discussion without rancor. Her young assistant who stayed behind quietly telling me she agreed with me. That eased some of the sting.

I do think that as time goes on, there will be an increasing softening of hard hearts.
