1. We have a goods and services tax on everything except essentials

Such as “groceries” (Trump’s word) which is a federal tax. Each province has their own provincial sales tax which was originally created to cover our medical. I think it likely just goes in the pot now. I live in a province with no provincial sales tax, only federal gst. Our medical services are included in our provincial income tax.

Yes each quarter we get approx $125. per single person and then more for spouse and children, not sure of amount. Bev54 Apr 3 #4
