General Discussion

I'm so grateful I've never been in a major disaster. When I was living in the States, I had two fires come way too close (in one of those instances being stopped one house away), and one tornado passed by but made a decent miss. I've wondered at various times how I would handle a loss that huge. You can't know unless it happens. And the older you get, the harder it gets. Natural disasters are simply going to happen. Nothing we can do about them. But what Putin, Trump, Musk and their minions are putting everyone through is jaw-droppingly horrendous.
