by his actions. Which is why his intentions will be not to have any elections which would hurt him. Dictators don't worry about fair and free elections.
Also, I saw Trump being interviewed and was asked if he wanted Vance to be his successor and he answered simply, "no" because he doesn't intend to be succeeded since he doesn't intend to leave.
