Before bed, I read Andy Carpenters brilliant fiction series combo of humor, mystery and love for his golden retriever who helps him solve cases. Then I snuggle with and focus on how thankful I am for my two pups and 14-year-old former-feral kitty, as I slowly deep breathe and think strong (long inhale) and healthy (long exhale). Within a few minutes Im out for the night.
I wish peace and love and gentle calm to you, and Buddyzbuddy, and our entire DU family.

I've lived by that prayer for over forty years. Meditation, mindfulness, and the pursuit of equanimity are a big help.
