He's the smartest mind in our party, and he inspires hope. Hearing him talk at rallies reminds me of Obama back in 2004. Back then, no one thought the country would elect a black man with a funny name either. So the naysayers can just keep naysaying.

The moment democrats decide our candidate can only be a straight white Christian male, we are letting magats choose the republican candidate AND the democratic candidate.

I am not okay with that. I don't think our voters are going to turn out to the polls and be enthusiastic to vote for our candidate when we are being told that they only had 15% of the potential field to choose from. That every female candidate is out. LGBT candidates are out. Jewish candidates are out. Muslim candidates are out. Black and Hispanic and Asian candidates are out. I think if that's your attitude, you're already a republican.
