That was very clearly an escape and evade technique, necessary in the moment. He was very clearly trying to maneuver away from and around the subject at many points, was being pursued by an ever-increasing-in-size angry crowd, and had fallen behind in the stack, and was at risk of being isolated, surrounded, and then who knows what would happen if the angry crowd swarmed his vehicle? He did not "run him over." As soon as the guy fell backwards, the vehicle stopped, over his shins from the looks of it, and he backed up and E&E'd to rejoin the convoy.

Based on all of the burned out, flipped, and destroyed cars seen in 2020, do you think any member of law enforcement would react in a different way in today's climate? A great question to ponder.
