We would take our kids there a lot. McGovern's Pub right across the street there at the corner of 7th and Chestnut Sts.

Then there is Mancini's Char House on 7th St. before you get to the former St. Paul Civic Center now Excel Energy Center. The BEST place in the Twin Cities for Black Angus steaks and charred garlic bread.
