4. Projections for these effects hitting by the end of the century are likely misleading.

A growing body of evidence indicates we're on track to hit 3 C over preindustrial levels by 2050 which will frankly be catastrophic. Recent analysis indicates warming has accelerated to >0.4 degrees/decade. Chalk that up as alarmist or plan accordingly, I guess.
