but what I do know is this: those bombs can easily be stacked into same piece of dirt. If they were released several seconds apart, they could be used in succession to open up a channel into which the next one could enter, penetrating deeper with each successive hit.

If the 12 MOPs intel is correct that’s 2 per entrance. Probably didn’t destroy the facility unless they had a collapse but Iran can have fun trying to mine it out while Israel bombs anything bigger than a Temu mini-excavator.

The whole situation will escalate. Again.

Reference:

Fordow underground complex

Isfahan surface and underground complex

Uranium conversion facility (the lower half of the built up facility is for the manufacture of uranium dioxide and conversion)
Zirconium facility (the upper half of the built up facility is the zirconium production plant)
One of several tunnel entrances (roads leading up to the hills in the north lead into a number of tunnels and underground facilities)

Hitting entrances may not be the best tactic.

This could also have been a demonstration (more airstrikes to follow) or a test of Iranian cement technology (more airstrikes to follow).

Like I said.... Will escalate.... FML
