Taking license to use a favorite word from one of my favorite DU posters, what is now pellucidly clear are two things: [View all]

1. A new SCOTUS must overturn the immunity ruling by this COURT AND
2. A new Congress with Dems leading MUST amend the Constitution to either eliminate or revise the Pardon Power of the President.

These two things are at the heart of Trump's KINGDOM and would be at the heart of any other dictator prone-anti-democratic-anti-rule-or-law POTUS in the coming years. I don't know if states can start the ball rolling on amending the Constitution narrowly so that only the one issue of pardons is being voted on but this has to be done. It is the sole reason few in this administration will stand up for the rule of law. They know that no matter how many laws are broken or how many of them will be convicted of crimes, they will be pardoned by this insufferable idiot of a President. They are therefore unflinchingly willing to do his bidding from the halls of Congress to the Proud Boys roaming the streets. There is nothing to stop them when Trump holds the pardon power. J6 proved it. If Trump died tonight, none of them would be so bold and so brazenly criminal.

Dems and all people who actually love this country must begin now to figure out how to do this.
