NYC Mayoral results: Mamdani leads Cuomo 43.5-36.3 (90% in) [View all]

Lander has 11.4 percent of the vote. If this sticks and the vast majority of Landers voters went to Mamdani (they cross endorsed each other), then Mamdani likely wins. Maybe easily.

Also since The Working Families Party endorsed him, he is also likely to get most of Adrienne Adams votes.

Cuomo could lose the primary and still go into the general election as an independent candidate FakeNoose Jun 2025 #2
True, but given how hes doing in this primary, i wonder if hes even willing to do that at this point. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #3
On May 6, CBS reported that Cuomo had filed both as a Democrat and Independent rpannier Jun 2025 #24
I would guess whether this holds or not depends on where the already counted votes came from. Wiz Imp Jun 2025 #4
Yeah. Most votes are in looks like. I also imagine Cuomo should be doing a lot better in places like Staten Island. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #5
I see it's up to 70% now and the lead is holding. Wiz Imp Jun 2025 #6
This is nuts. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #7
He doesnt seem to fall much below an 8% lead when he does SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #8
Okay its starting to narrow a bit, but not sure its significant enough with so few votes left to count. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #11
Absolute collapse of Cuomo's numbers Prairie Gates Jun 2025 #9
Yup. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #10
Sounds good! elleng Jun 2025 #23
Mamdani looks like he has the direct vote locked up (7.8% lead with 84% in). Wiz Imp Jun 2025 #12
Agreed. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #13
At this point, Cuomo would need at least 73% of the outstanding votes to catch up - that's not going to happen. Wiz Imp Jun 2025 #14
Is it just me or does Cuomos lead in the Bronx seem surprisingly high? SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #16
It could be because Democrats have a 10 to 1 registration advantage in the Bronx Wiz Imp Jun 2025 #17
Thats a great explanation. SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #19
What do you think Mamdanis vote will be in the Bronx and Staten Island after the final round? SSJVegeta Jun 2025 #26
This is a different time... Nanjeanne Jun 2025 #15

Could Mamdani's resounding victory auger the Democratic Party becoming a true socialist party? Seeking Serenity Jun 2025 #25
