(1,873 posts)56. I wish I had more to offer than moral support. I don't. I do have a little advice.
Don't obsess over the situation. Focus on the everyday. If you must watch news videos, hold it down to no more than two at a time. Then watch something silly or entertaining. Watch a Grateful Dead set or an old movie ( one that comes with good memories). 60s and 70s nostalgia videos are good too. Don't get me wrong here. I'm mad as hell about this blatant stupidity. I also know that unnecessarily maintaining a high level of adrenalin is very unhealthy. The cats have learned to ignore my vent/rant yelling at the TV. They know the value of chill.
Also remember, there is strength in numbers. You are one of 300 plus million other people that are going to go through this together. You are not alone!

That's the reason the trump era hurts so much -- born at midcentury, we participated in progress...

I'm with you. This is chaos theater, and as the party of SANITY, we will always do clean up of the destruction,

Thanks, calimary. DU'ers aggregated all this! The MAIN point being that our party is badass at governing for The People.

Same here. I wish I had inspirational words. Hakeem used MLK's "Press on" as what we need to do. He was amazing.
