The various parties who knew dangerous thunderstorms were approaching should have made clear the threat of flash flooding Thursday night. Friday at 5 a.m. was too late to get evacuations started.

Going from what we now know, had these emergency communications been person-to-person — rather than by radio, phone or texts via X formerly Twitter — the general public and the campers would have been notified sooner and effectively.

The voices of NWS experts would make crystal clear why communities must get to higher ground. Instead, we get a treasonous crypto grifter and fiends thinking they’ll “probably” come to Texas Friday.
