Yes, it might be a painful sacrifice for them; but there are ways to overcome and deal with the sacrifices in modern day America.

But what harm can come from giving Republicans another two years of complete control in DC? Evidently plenty of Dems seem to think there is nothing to worry about when that happens, which seems far more likely now.
