It takes as lot for law enforcement and the military to disobey the orders of the commander in chief.
That all vanished at 12:01 on January 20, 2029.
My expectations have zero to do with faith those entities. In fact I regularly burst the bubble during the first term for people on DU who expected the military (or someone) to prevent Trump from carrying out his worst impulses. Both them, and now, it has to do with how those entities work. As long as he is president they will follow his orders. Once he is no longer president, they will follow the orders of the next president and bounce him out of the white house.
