Most Dem candidates have become comfortable just complaining about those bad, bad Republicans and the poopoo head Trump rather than actually advancing bold, progressive ideas.

Mamdani is charismatic, but he is also wicked smart and brave as hell, not afraid to put forward ideas he knew would totally piss off all Republicans, the old guard of the Dem party, and billionaires all over the world.

It is a rare combination, and we can't expect all of our candidates to be this powerful. But they should all at least be learning lessons from Mamdani.
