extremely reich-wing Christians. It was a constant source of wonder to me how everything that Republicans did was god's will. Even when things turned out terribly, it was god works in mysterious ways. And everything that Democratic politicians did was for some nefarious, evil reason.
For people like that it isn't so much what is done, it is who did it.

Edit: Which I guess makes sense, since some christians apparently believe that god has chosen his favorites before they were born.
