13. Again...what does extending the shutdown accomplish if it will not yield concessions from Republicans?

It just creates more pain for millions of federal workers, many of whom are late on mortgage/rent/car/credit card payments and uncertainty for the SNAP families Donald Trump is trying to starve.

Republicans control the fate of the ACA subsidies regardless, what is the point of insisting on the continued suffering that a shutdown causes?
