I try to tell my sweet boy (12-year old) how much I love him every day. I try to remember what his cuddles feel like because I know they won't be for much longer. Now that he's ailing more, when he gets in bed with me, he no longer is happy at the foot, but wants to snuggle up under my left arm so I can love on him in the night. I think he knows how much I need him. We don't deserve the love they give us.
