The HEMP INDUSTRY should NOT HAVE TO FOLD because of the "KRATOM SOLD AT GAS STATIONS" boogieman. [View all]

I've used CBD products for several years, but only from reputable companies who have strict quality standards.

And, we have a store in town that sells CBD and what one patron referred to as "the single largest display of Kratom I've ever seen in one place."

I don't shop there. I buy online from the aforementioned reputable companies.

In the article on Trump signing the executive order to re-classify marijuana, it says:

The deal that ended the government shutdown last month included a GOP-backed provision that would effectively ban products made with CBD.

Trump’s order asks Congress to revisit that law, which prohibits the manufacturing of products containing more than 0.4 milligrams of total THC, an intoxicating compound related to CBD. The goal is to “potentially update that definition, so that full spectrum CBD products would still be available,” according to a senior administration official granted anonymity to provide technical details on the directive.

I've read enough about Kratom to know I don't want to try it or fuck with it. And the synthetically created THC stuff is sketchy too. This doesn't mean the rug has to be yanked out from under people who have received theraputic benefits from legitimate THC products.

Government has almost a year to revise McConnell's sweeping bloodbath of a pork bill. Let's hope they do.
