...has always been a fraud.
He ran up wins against tomato cans, fighting novice after novice for far longer than a really good combat sport participant should.
But, that record was important to his "influencer" shtick because gullible rubes would see the record and not realize he was fighting hacks.
He's always been a fake, then he became a loathsome idiot. The only thing that wasn't fake were the crimes he committed.
