You're the one foisting this result and defending it. You're the one choosing to post material from a well-known opponent to what most everyone on DU believes best for democracy. You're the one choosing to take Cato at face value.

All I said was I didn't trust the Cato Institute, to which you seem to take such intense umbrage.

Evidently quite a few people responding to your OP share a similar well earned skepticism.

If it's the poll results you're defending, then it's up to you provide further evidence.

If it's the Cato Institute you're defending, well, there isn't anything left to say.
