1. Great article! Just a little tip for the URL:

It's easy to not notice this but often times when we share URLs they contain tracking information. Let's break down the parameters (things after the question mark) that are included in the URL:

?r=9qw74
Likely some kind of session ID or unique code. It's used to identify where it was originally shared from. For example if I were posting to multiple platforms I could use a unique number or string and then learn where people got the link originally from.

shareImageVariant=overlay
Nothing much here. Actually I'm a little unsure on this one. It seems to mean that you clicked on a link on top of an image.


triedRedirect=true
Came from a different URL.


We can remove all these things and the link will still work fine.

This is just a little nitpicky thing and for them it doesn't matter as much. I would recommend removing &si=(id) from YouTube links and igshid from Instagram links.
