(22,834 posts)40 years is a long-time to be told to shut-up because the cower-in-the-corner strategy is the only thing that will work--especially when it didn't work.
Not one presidential nominee has opposed Reaganomics since Walter Mondale. Reaganomics is "the government is the enemy" in action.
In my opinion, the better message is "It turns out, billionaires are not as good at making country-benefitting investments as 'We the People'. It's time to end Reaganomics."
Bright red Missouri passed propositions for sick leave and an increased minimum wage. They voted to enshrine the right to abortion in the state's constitution. The GOP is trying it's best to reverse the will of the voters, but it didn't take New York for the voters to pass them.
