There is such a level of ignorance about how government works that all you have to say is that the Democrats did it, and they will continue to vote for Republicans. Yes, I live in a red state. It is heartbreaking. I've tried talking to some of them but they just flat out down't believe me. Oh yeah, Fox "news" runs on most TVs in local businesses, even the gym.
The infrastructure project that has been ongoing for a few years now has a huge sign with the governor's name on it, not President Biden's. And everyone believes their reps and governor made it so.
