The republicans have more successfully branded our party than we have. Tax & spend, weak on defense, nanny state, baby killers. Go do some "man on the street" interviews & ask "Who's better at the economy, dems or repubs?" & I'd bet a significant majority would answer republicans. Why? Cuz they've been telling people they are since Reagan. We let hate radio blanket rural America with anti-dem propaganda without any challenge from our side, & now we have farmers who complain about Trump but say they'd never vote for a dem even as they admit the dems passed a good ag bill. WTF?

Now the landscape is so different with so much more mis/disinformation out there, I don't know how you successfully challenge it, but remaining silent isn't the way. We need a marketing department, stat!
