12. Unless we DEMAND full and unadulterated accountability for ALL involved ASAP, it does not matter...

SOME of the biggest mistakes of the nation's history are:

1) refusal to hunt down and execute the leaders of the Confederacy in toto - they should have ALL been tried for treason and given the full sentence of law, period.
2) allowing reconstruction to be as mangled and hideous as it was including Jim Crow and everything since Civil Rights Act as well
3) allowing Bush v. Gore to conclude without a forensic tally of ALL votes cast and demands for SCOTUS recusals for conflicted justices that owed their seats to a litigant's family.
4) everything in response to 9/11 that attacked nations uninvolved in the plot and ignored US actions that could have been different
5) Trump
6) not prosecuting everyone involved in J6 actions and the election stealing plot to the fullest extent of the law
7) Democratic party failure to enshrine reproductive rights by law
8) Japanese internment camps
9) failure to listen to Eisenhower's farewell address more literally
10) failure to treat the FIRST amendment as equal in importance to the SECOND as an electoral issue and counter balance to the right's campaign of fetishizing guns and the 2nd as primary.
