have we said, in the last 45+ years: "They Can't/Won't do that????????? AND especially in the last ten years????????

In my mind, all bets are off on anything/everything...........

Even as far back as 1980 I was screaming They Can,t do that.............(For instance: The Supreme Court taking over the election)

And everyone was just walking down the Jungle Path, swatting at mosquitoes, totally oblivious to the herd of charging elephants...
