29. My bill went up because of Christmas lights

I don’t do a lot but around rim of house and tree inside.

My bill stays low rest of the winter because I spend my heating money on buying a few cords of wood. We have a new eco wood stove that heats 1/2 the house and I live in that part all winter, if I need to be in my office during the day I use small plug in heater for short time.

The price actually comes out even if I used heater vs fire but I love sitting by cozy fire and reading in the winter.

Our electric company raised the rates 25% last year so it is higher every month. Use to be during spring and fall when I didn’t use heat or air I could get bill under $100. Not anymore.
