3. Set up ANY PRETEXT for cancelling the midterm elections (and beyond).
1) The Executive Branch has nothing to do with elections. It can't "cancel" anything.
2) The elections in November, just like every election, will be for dozens of local, State and Federal offices.
3) Following the above, no "Red State" governor is going to go along with Trump in "cancelling" elections.
4) State and Federal law govern the positions up for election; the current office holders terms expire at the end, just like Trump's term expires on 01/20/2028. Elections are required by law to fill those positions.
5) This "cancelling elections" nonsense has been created by the media just like they created the notion that Trump didn't have to "accept" the results of an election if he doesn't want to. People need to stop repeating it.
