I haven't seen the video here due to not having a Bluesky account and it's age restricted, so my comments are from seeing another video posted on YouTube. Obviously they didn't need to shoot her and it's abhorrent that they did, I suspect that's where the defense of this will end up. It shouldn't be a defense since there's nothing to indicate the officers had any real reason to be afraid, but too often that's not enough.

Please note, I'm not defending the murder, just trying to look at it from more than just my immediate understanding that this absolutely didn't need to happen and that we need to be clear about what happened and in what order. It doesn't seem accurate to not include that she was told to get out of the car.
