The ex-husband said Good was not an activist, and he had no recollection of her ever joining a protest of any kind. He described her as a devoted Christian who took youth mission trips to Northern Ireland when she was younger.
Donna Granger, her mother, similarly said Good was “not part of anything like that at all,” referring to protests against ICE.
“Renee was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known,” she told the Minnesota Star Tribune. “She was extremely compassionate. She’s taken care of people all her life. She was loving, forgiving and affectionate. She was an amazing human being.”
