I don't know that the first shot hit her.

Again, think of the angle of the shot.

The first shot hit the vehicle only a few inches from the edge of the windshield. If the first shot missed her, or hit her left shoulder, that would show that he was far enough in front of the vehicle that the shot could be shown to have been justified.

If the first shot hit the victim's head, neck, or center chest, the shooter must have been far enough to the side of the vehicle that he was not in danger.

The second and third shots cannot be shown to have been justified. At all. Even if one is credibly threatened for a moment, you don't get a "grace period" to continue to feel threatened and kill someone when the threat has clearly passed.
