Stuff like that will only convince those already convinced.
Stuff from other sources, especially third party Democrat aligned sources, will be discredited with a wave of their hand and the news media will just never give its revelations any credibility.

In short it's the perfect trap: nothing from DOJ and disregard other sources as "Democrat lies".
