All they fucking see are sleek, fast glorious airplanes, big, rumbling tanks that go "vroom-vroom", big ships bristling with weapons, crisp, clean uniforms, pretty radar and weapons systems going "beep-bop-boop" and missiles that go "whoosh".

They have no fucking idea that 70-80% of the military, are Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen and Marines that man boxy little dingy trailers, night, after night and day, after day, doing the dregging important work that makes it all go.
