you and your health needs are caught up in the frustrating insurance cycle. I know many people who this has happened to. Including insurance refusing to pay for cancerous tumor removal.... the day before the scheduled surgery.

This is their MO. Bottom line more important than people. it's an untenable system, and it bankrupts a lot of people.

I hope your wife has better luck on the phone.
