I suspect Ms. Noem wasn't "fired" fired [View all]

https://www.kcci.com/article/trump-noem-shield-americas-doral-summit/70627670

On Tuesday, March 7, King Donald Trump will announce his new "Shield of the Americas" initiative. It is a group of 11 Latin American nations, led by the US. In the Shield are currently Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago. All these nations have one thing in common: their presidents are right-wing extremists.

The US Special Envoy to The Shield of the Americas, a desk in the State Department, is Kristi Noem.

What it appears to me is Trump transferred her to this new position rather than actually terminating her and sending her back to South Dakota to shoot more puppies, and all y'all just think he canned her ass. With this action, Trump gets a win-win situation: he can install a DHS head who's even worse than Noem is, which he did, and he can have this new slot filled with someone carrying a proven track record of evil.
