Yesterday I blasted Wesley Clark for his support of trump's war [View all]

He appeared on CNN and was supporting trump's war plans with no criticism of his insane comments or his weakening of the NATO alliance. Such a disappointment to those of us who remember him running as a Dem and blasting dubya for his war cheerleading.

Well, by contrast I would like to present General Barry McCaffrey , who continues to be a military analyst for MSNOW. I am so glad that the network retained him during all the personnel changes lately. He is a four-star general who was awarded three purple hearts during Vietnam.

His analysis differs strikingly from Clark's. He gave credit to the military, but blasted the president's off the rails social media posts and threats of violence to civilian infrastrucure. And he was not afraid to go there. He said that we basically have a president who has shown that he is mentally unstable and we still have three years to go of this. He brought it back to this central question on his own. Truth to power.

Thanks for your service, General. And thanks for your courage in speaking the truth. We need it now more than ever.
