They'll probably make a show of holding up a tanker bound for the Kingdom of East Fuckistan, just so they can say Trump's insane ramblings weren't pure bullshit, but that'll probably be it.
Or maybe they'll decide to fuck with some ships travelling to/from a NATO country, just to start a new, major global crisis. Shift the media's focus from the complete shitshow that is the Iran War (and a subject who's 'ratings' are probably falling) to something that it'll seems like IQ47 might have some power over, like the negotiations on the impasse between the two NATO countries.
A problem, IOW, that he might actually end up being able to "solve" and therefore look like the "great negotiator" he incessantly and desperately presents himself as. Never mind that it'll just another TACO situation, and one that was entirely created by Trump's sickness and stupidity in the first place, but the M$M (esp. Fox, CNN, CBS, and WaZo (I think I just made that up myself, using beZOs, but could be wrong on that lol) will find a way to portray it as a masterful display of diplomacy
