I know it is hard for people to understand, but this is how he and prior to him the Rs party/conservative movement gaslight their supporters, specifically those that put themselves out as "christians."

You put them in a position to have to defend the indefensible so they don't have to admit being wrong.

But. they have to get more and more ridiculous as they go to keep the hold.

These are the great christians who said the guy who was recorded saying "grab them by the ______" and it was known that he had sex with a porn star was "an imperfect man doing gods work!" while saying actual practicing christians like BHO, Joe Biden and Hillary are the sum of all that is evil.

Its always been bullshit.
