SOUND THE ALARM: Graham Platner Says Sexual Assault Victims Should Take Some Responsibility in Now-Deleted Reddit Postshttps://emilyslist.org/sound-the-alarm/sound-the-alarm-graham-platner-says-sexual-assault-victims-should-take-some-responsibility-in-now-deleted-reddit-posts/
Maine U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner made disturbing comments about sexual assault victims in Reddit posts that were deleted shortly before he launched his campaign saying assault victims should just take some responsibility for themselves to avoid attacks and act like an adult for fcks sake. He said people should avoid alcohol so they dont end up in a compromising situation and downplayed the challenges servicemembers face in reporting sexual assault.
The reservations I have about Platner representing Democrats on any level, let alone putting him in the U.S. Senate, are off the charts. Alarm? How about three alarms?

I think it's more about early endorsements getting the ball rolling before ANY proper vetting is done.

Awful comments to be sure. But did he make these comments a year ago? Five years ago? 10 years ago? Try 12 years ago.

This stuff has been out-There are several red flags. I'm tired of Democratic voters getting screwed. I do not trust him.
