I went to school with some Italian kids, and I can tell you that particular gesture is not polite.

My Italian teacher in the 60s was from Messina. He had a wonderful story about when the GI's came through.

Yup, In my old neighborhood the nona's would say "Che cosa fai?" or Che cosa stupido?

I believe AOC is Puerto Rican and can be very animated with her gestures. She could chew him up
