My GGF came to the US via Canada from the Orkney Isles in Scotland. I seriously doubt I could document that because I have no idea if he actually lived there first or just jumped off the boat and headed south, and my grandparents are also long gone now, as are my da and uncle.

I should probably start trolling dating sites for old farts so I can just marry my way to citizenship.
