I'm certainly not looking for perfection, but expect someone with his experience and background to be able to sharply articulate brief answers which actually answers directly. Instead, he seemed to think saying "I'm experienced" sufficed. If my instincts are on the mark Becerra is the party leaders favorite all the money and support will go to him. In which case he's got work ahead in this regard. A d step outside the bubble wouldn't hurt.
