21. It is more like cutting off your nose to save your face than to spite it....

Yesterday

After claiming Obama wasn't American, saying McCain wasn't a war hero, saying on tape he grabbed women by the p-word, actively courting Russia to interfere in our elections, breaking so many of our long-established norms, calling soldiers suckers and losers, being impeached--twice, being convicted of fraudulent business practices and paying off a porn star, being convicted of sexual abuse, inciting a riot at our very own Capitol, etc., etc., etc., and still being reelected in 2024, it is abundantly clear that the ONLY thing the average American voter cares about is their personal economy.

Unfortunately, the ONLY thing that is breaking through to the electorate is the damage that tariffs and this "little excursion" in Iran is doing to their economic security.

If economic pain is the one and only thing that can save us from this MAGAfied fever dream we seem to be living through then so be it.

We just need to be preparing accordingly for our own economic pain to be able to make it through the hard times.

The entire world will be better off if we can get past this stupid timeline.
